The Problem
Motion Dynamics manufactures precision micro springs and coils for medical devices — critical components that literally save lives.
Like many manufacturers post-pandemic, they faced a major hiring gap exacerbated by their quick growth and plans for an additional building. Through our GROW framework, we built an employer branding campaign that blended authentic storytelling with recruitment-focused design.
Our Solution
We started by interviewing a selection of their current employees across all job roles to understand what they thought about working at Motion Dynamics and identify what made working there so rewarding. One of the key messages that resonated throughout the feedback was that Motion Dynamics really cared about supporting individual growth and providing ongoing opportunities to train and transition into any part of the business that person took an interest in.Â
With that feedback, we developed a campaign message that lent both to the awareness of Motions Dynamics and what they did within the community, but also to the career growth that could be found working there.
We applied this theme to a refreshed careers page, a series of videos capturing real employee voices, billboards, digital ad campaigns and internal referral materials that allowed current employees to become brand advocates on their behalf sharing career opportunities with anyone they thought would be a good fit.
The Results
The campaign drew 8,600 visitors to the careers page and resulted in 70 new hires in the first year.
