As a marketing team with a passion for manufacturing, we couldn’t be more excited to honor the industry we love by celebrating Manufacturing Day, otherwise known as MFG Day.
This Friday, manufacturers across the country will be opening their doors in hopes of opening minds to the modern world of manufacturing. They’ll be rolling out the red carpet, letting people in to their facilities, giving them tours, allowing them hands-on experiences, and most importantly, changing their perceptions of what manufacturing is all about.
Led nationwide by the Manufacturing Institute, and in Michigan by the Michigan Manufacturers Association and supporting sponsors, MFG Day is a national celebration of all things manufacturing — a grassroots movement empowering manufacturers to come together, change the way people think about the industry, address challenges, and inspire the next generation.
Every year, manufacturers from coast to coast participate in MFG Day, inviting people to experience modern manufacturing firsthand. This year, there’s even a MFG app that allows users to virtually solve problems, make decisions, and repair a robot. It’s innovations like these that show there’s more to today’s manufacturing than you might think…and there’s more in what the future holds.
Muskegon was born from manufacturing. It’s what’s fueled its present day resurgence. It’s why we love the industry as much as we love our hometown, why we take pride in helping both grow. To us, every day is MFG day. But this Friday, we’ll be celebrating our roots, and our clients, even more.
Join us in celebrating manufacturers everywhere. Attend an MFG event this Friday — there are literally over 2,000 participating manufacturers nationwide!
